NYU Case Study Feedback Loop
Feedback Loop is a site centered around two keywords: trust and community. Feedback Loop will make peers feel connected to one another while they give and receive feedback and will turn the process of peer feedback into a continuous cycle. I was the UX researcher and lead UI designer in this project.

My team found through our research that NYU graduate students are hardworking and committed to their work. They need to feel understood and connected to their community before they can be vulnerable throughout the feedback process. A sense of belonging helps students develop trust, which bridges the gap between different levels of expertise and helps build self-confidence when both giving and receiving feedback.
Our research methods included:
Interviews
Surveys
Affinity Maps
Empathy Maps
Directed Storytelling, Journey Maps
We began with Lo-Fi prototypes by sketches and barnstorming. Then we went through three iterations to integrate data from usability testing to Hi-Fi Prototypes.
Some aspects of the project upload page of the site went through several iterations throughout our usability testing process. These include:
Headline/Title
Sticky Notes Interaction
Plus Sign/Adding Stickies
User Road Map
Community Interaction
